ICT literacy programme 6-year plan

In the new media ecology, it is acknowledged that people are literate in different ways. In the digital networked environment, students are considered literate if they are able to curate digital content, connect and communicate digitally and create digital multimodal products across a range of digital media platforms, while taking into consideration ethical and social practices embedded in learning and daily life.

Our school has revised our ICT literacy programme to better align our programme with MOE new media literacy. The new programme are built on the current set of standards, with a focus on the acquisition and application of technical skills to support the creation of digital content and various modes of interaction. The standards were revised to include the knowledge and skills to search for and evaluate digital information, use information ethically to create or remix digital artefacts; exchange information and contribute productively in an online community.
